Terms of Service

ScalpAnalysis AI provides:

• AI-powered hairline, density, hair attribute, and scalp appearance signals
• Saved baselines, scan history, and progress comparisons
• Hairstyle suggestions, optional AI hairstyle try-on previews, and care routine ideas
• Optional Premium tracking features

The Service is designed for informational and cosmetic purposes only and should not be considered medical advice.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and login credentials. You can sign in with Google or with your email and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider, and you can reset yours by email at any time. Keep access to your registered email, as it is how you recover your account.

Guest Checkout: If you pay for a scan without an account, we create one for you using the email you enter at checkout so your report stays linked to you. You can sign in with that email afterwards. These Terms apply to accounts created this way.

Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

Free Tier

Taking your four guided photos and previewing your report structure is free. No payment is required to scan.

Single Scan Credits

Unlocking a full analysis costs $2.99 per scan, billed as a one-time purchase through Creem. One credit unlocks one analysis. If an analysis fails, your credit is not consumed. Credits are tied to your account and have no cash value.

Referral Credits

When 3 friends sign up through your invite link, you receive 1 free scan credit. We may withhold or revoke credits earned through fake, duplicate, or automated accounts.

Premium Subscription

Ongoing tracking without per-scan payments: unlimited scans, full scan history, before/after comparison, trend timeline, monthly progress reports, rescan reminders, PDF export, and a monthly hairstyle try-on allowance.

Hairstyle Try-On Credit Packs

Optional one-time packs of image-generation points for extra hairstyle previews beyond what is included with your scan or Premium allowance. Current pack sizes and prices are shown at checkout. Points have no cash value, and failed generations do not consume points.

Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price increase takes effect.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Billing & Payments: All payments, including single scan credits, Premium subscriptions, and try-on credit packs, are processed by Creem, our merchant of record. Creem handles billing, applicable taxes, and refunds; the charge may appear on your statement as CREEM.IO. We do not currently offer a free trial.

Subscription Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time Premium subscribers. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund.

One-Time Purchase Refunds: If you have not used a scan credit yet, contact us and we will refund it in full. Once a credit has been used, the analysis has been delivered instantly, so used credits are generally non-refundable. If something went wrong, such as a duplicate charge or a technical failure that blocked your analysis, contact us and we will make it right.

No Refunds For: Partial months, feature requests not delivered, or accounts terminated for Terms violations.

Your Photos: You retain ownership of all photos you upload. By uploading, you grant ScalpAnalysis AI a limited license to process, analyze, and store these images solely to provide the Service.

Restrictions: You agree to only upload images of your own scalp. Do not upload images of others without their consent.

No AI Training: As stated in our Privacy Policy, your photos are never used to train AI models.

You agree not to:

• ✕Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• ✕Upload inappropriate, offensive, or non-scalp related content
• ✕Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy our AI algorithms
• ✕Circumvent security features or access restrictions
• ✕Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits or referral rewards
• ✕Use the Service to provide medical advice to others

All content, features, functionality, logos, and design of the Service are owned by ScalpAnalysis AI and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

By You: You may delete your account at any time from your account settings, or email support@scalpanalysis.app and we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days. Deletion is permanent.

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, suspicious activity, or non-payment. We will provide notice when possible.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data will be deleted per our retention policy.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCALPANALYSIS AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ScalpAnalysis AI, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email (for registered users) or a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
