ScalpSync provides:

The AI analysis provided is for informational and cosmetic purposes only and should not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Results may vary. Individual scalp conditions are unique and may require professional assessment.

4. User Accounts
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We use Magic Link authentication—you must have access to your registered email to log in.
Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Free Tier
Basic scalp analysis with limited features. No payment required.
Premium Subscription
Advanced features including unlimited scans, timeline tracking, detailed reports, and priority support.

- • Prices are in USD and may include applicable taxes
- • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price increase takes effect.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
6. Refund Policy
7-Day Free Trial: New Premium subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time Premium subscribers. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund.
No Refunds For: Partial months, feature requests not delivered, or accounts terminated for Terms violations.
7. Affiliate Disclosure
ScalpSync participates in the Amazon Associates Program and other affiliate marketing programs.
When we recommend products, we may earn a commission if you purchase through our links. This does not affect the price you pay. Our recommendations are based on your scalp analysis and ingredient matching algorithms—not on commission rates.
We are committed to recommending products that genuinely match your needs, regardless of affiliate relationships.
8. User Content
Your Photos: You retain ownership of all photos you upload. By uploading, you grant ScalpSync a limited license to process, analyze, and store these images solely to provide the Service.
Restrictions: You agree to only upload images of your own scalp. Do not upload images of others without their consent.
No AI Training: As stated in our Privacy Policy, your photos are never used to train AI models.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- ✕Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- ✕Upload inappropriate, offensive, or non-scalp related content
- ✕Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy our AI algorithms
- ✕Circumvent security features or access restrictions
- ✕Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits
- ✕Use the Service to provide medical advice to others
10. Intellectual Property
All content, features, functionality, logos, and design of the Service are owned by ScalpSync and are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
11. Termination
By You: You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. This will permanently delete all your data.
By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, suspicious activity, or non-payment. We will provide notice when possible.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data will be deleted per our retention policy.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCALPSYNC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ScalpSync, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email (for registered users) or a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
